Overview of REPC’s Participation
The Rajasthan Export Promotion Council (REPC) actively participated in the Global Stone Technology Forum through two key initiatives:
Focus Areas:
The session highlighted the new export policy and its benefits for existing and potential exporters. Special emphasis was placed on export documentation, particularly the significance of the Certificate of Origin and District of Origin in documents such as shipping bills.
The REPC stall served as an interactive platform for exporters to engage with the team and gain insights into the export policy and government initiatives for export promotion. Exporters showed significant interest in understanding policy benefits and practical aspects of export documentation.
A pilot survey was conducted during the forum to assess the need for enhanced awareness about the District of Origin and its importance in export documentation. The survey provided valuable insights into exporters’ understanding and their specific requirements for export facilitation.
Key Outcomes
The REPC’s participation in the Global Stone Technology Forum successfully promoted export-related schemes and addressed exporters’ queries. The event underscored the importance of consistent engagement with stakeholders to support Rajasthan’s export growth.
